TIMELINE OF DRUG-RELATED KILLINGS

Recording drug-related killings is a step toward seeking accountability from its perpetrators. However, this timeline of drug-related deaths does not aim to come up with an accurate number of drug-related deaths from two administration. Instead, it seeks to visualize the trends on drug-related killings in the Philippines and how the numbers increased dramatically during the Duterte administration. 

The data used to develop this timeline are news articles from the Philippine Daily Inquirer’s online portal, Inquirer.net (www.inquirer.net).
